Bree is just your average high school student trying to finish up her senior year as quickly as possible. Aside from her brother-like friend, Xavier, Bree is not very social and doesn't have many friends. That all changes, however, when Xavier drags her to an art convention where artists of every kind show off their work. There, Bree unexpectedly meets someone who becomes most likely her first girl best friend ever. New feelings are brought to the surface and Bree finds herself the most happy she has ever been in her entire life. But what happens when newer and even more unexpected feelings start to arise that Bree can't understand? Is this what it feels like to have a girl best friend? Or is it something more that she just can't accept to be true? Ocean Eyes is a story about realizing who you are as a person and how to over come struggles, self doubt, and self conflict.
