Both sides

After a war between heaven and hell, Dave, the soul, finds himself in the Domes house on the surface instead of hell. He discovers that his best friend, Chris, and Lara the love of his life became together. Dave makes a mess of Chris' life on the surface which leads to his descendants back to hell where he works as a writer. Before his death Dave becomes a better soul and manages to convince Chris to forgive him. They both landed on the surface with their bodies and returned to be best friends again. Dave and Lara got married and made two kids. And so they all lived happily ever after.
