Conall and Julius have known each other through a game since they were 14 years old. Throughout the years of slowly becoming better and better friends, they never revealed any information about themselves that would reveal their identity but at the same time, they know everything about each other when it comes to their dislikes and likes etc. Now they are both 19 years old and are going to college, but things change when they coincidently meet without knowing that they are each other's best friends online.

Sammy and Clove meet through Julius at a bar. Sammy is first annoyed with Clove due to her being extremely reserved and quiet, but as the two meet more often, Sammy slowly starts getting a soft spot for Clove. Although Sammy has feelings for Clove, they're too scared to do anything about it because of the traumatic events that Clove has gone through.
