The apocalypse was thwarted, but at the cost of one's soul, in bargain to keep another safe. One who is a trusted friend betrays those closest to him. 

A door has been opened, bringing about fangs and black goo. 

Tablets reveal the possibility to close gates forever, which would certainly make things much, much easier, but it comes at a cost, and is it one the three are willing to pay? 

One has been saved, but not of his own will. A Mark is willingly accepted, ending in crimson and black. 

The Mark must be removed in order to save both the bearer and the world. But, as always, it will come at a cost. 

Between family and friends, love and death, the Winchesters and Marvins have far more to defeat than they've ever had before.
