Kagehina-The Decoy To My Setter

Kageyama had never thought much about what to do when he was a setter. To him all he needed to know was where Hinata was, where the blockers were and where the ball was. But even then, it was all just muscle memory. When he was Kageyama the setter that's all there was to it.

Off court however, it was a completely different story. Off court the only thing on his mind was Hinata.

At first it was only little things like when Hinata would grin happily at him when he beat him (and Kageyama found himself thinking that maybe he could deal with losing if it meant seeing that smile more) or that time when at lunch Kageyama had bought him a milk box to 'reward' him after their first match.

Kageyama began freaking out when he began noticing more and more little things about Hinata that a normal teamate wouldn't.

Things like the smell of Hinata's shampoo (which smelled like oranges Kageyama noted ironically, unable to keep the grin that was creeping onto his

Kageyama enters Karasuno as a first year and becomes a member of the volleyball club. His new team mates warn him that strange things seem to happen inside the club, however, Kageyama couldn't be bothered since that orange haired middleblocker named Hinata Shouyou keeps him distracted. Training, training, training and his endless babbling inbetween and during it, yet Kageyama notices how much he is enjoying his time with the first friend he has. "Kageyama... see... I just wanted to know if there is anything wrong. Are you feeling well? I hope Tanaka didn't get on your nerves, he is quite the troublesome character." "I'm okay. Uhh... can I ask you something?" "Sure!" Suga smiled and gave him a look which could even encourage him to study English vocabulary. "Why are you never training with Hinata? Why is that dumbass only pestering me? You can toss to him, too." Sugawara's smile faltered ever so slightly and confusion settled in his concerned eyes. "Hinata...?" Kageyama didn't understand the bewilderment of his fellow setter; he simply nodded over to the bouncy orange head who devoured a pack of juice. Sugawara swallowed and Kageyama noticed this. "Kageyama..." Suga's voice had dropped a little, making sure none of the others would stumble over their conversation, "There is no one over there." Contains bit of Asanoya. Fly High

1 part Complete

Kageyama Tobio hated when things were out of his control. And the annoying orange haired teammate of his was definitely out of his control. And yet, Hinata had a warmth within him that Kageyama craved. He was like a sun. But every sun has to set sometime. *** Writer's note here because I didn't want to disturb the story: I tried my best to research Friedreich's Ataxia. It is a truly terrible disease that can be fatal in the early adulthood stage, mostly due to heart failure. It has many more things to it than what I wrote here and it's more painful but I thought I already put Hinata (and my soul) through enough. Despite that, there can be things that are incorrect, I'm not a medical professional so please keep that in mind and do your own research.
