Aether was captured by the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles and is now stranded in the world of Teyvat. A common starting to the story of the traveler, however this one is a bit more different than the usual. As in this one, Aether will be more competent as he will use the skills and knowledge he accumulated on his vast journeys to his advantage in this new world. I have been playing Genshin for 3 years now and one thing I noticed is that there aren't many Aether centric fanfics. Usually they are just shipping fanfics, not that I don't enjoy them. Also, it is known that Aether and Lumine have seen stars being born and die, and were said to have travelled a lot. As such, their performance in Teyvat is a bit lackluster. Even if their powers have been sealed their knowledge and memories are still there (don't know about the sibling part) and their bodies aren't that weak. Yet they manage to be defeated again and again. I like Aether as I chose him but his skill set in the game is not that great and he has great potential for power, Navia's story quest can show us that.
