Miles quaritch's memories are brought back in the form of a clone. Along with a whole squad of recoms. 
However a long extinct creature from earth was brought along for the colonisation of Pandora. 
Now having to deal with the sins of his past life, Quaritch finds serenity with the creature. 

Nick being something long gone from earth he struggles finding belonging within bridgehead, basically a prisoner he longs to run away from the humans only bringing one in particular with him. Can a cat tame a wolf?

A New Mission: Happiness is Simple de Xenomorphee_

Sequel to A New Mission: Ash to Fire (Spoilers to the first story in summary!) Many years after peace has been reached on Pandora, former RDA recombinants Miles Quaritch, Lyle Wainfleet, and Devin Mansk have created fulfilling lives for themselves among the Ash Na'vi. Miles leads the people as Olo'eyktan with the love and support of his fierce Ash Na'vi mate, Zukriyä. On their paradise volcanic archipelago, the three recoms contend with a great new mission: raising their families. However, such may prove to be the most difficult mission they've ever had, as the actions and decisions of their adolescent children will force their parents to contend with the dangers of Pandora, their relationships with their kids, and rivalries thought to be buried long ago. If A New Mission: Ash to Fire was like Quaritch's Avatar, this story is a lot more akin to his Way of Water where he contends with family.

"Back on earth we have this saying. That everyone has this red string that connects soulmates, ties us together. I didn't know mines was so far away on this planet, hell if I did, I'd have found you sooner." A New Mission: Ash to Fire de Xenomorphee_

Miles Quaritch failed his first mission to kill Jake Sully. Now, Bridgehead Command has a new mission for him and his surviving recoms, Wainfleet and Mansk. A mission to gather intel and make an alliance with the newly contacted Ash People, a Na'vi clan endemic to a volcanic archipelago. What's at first just orders will slowly come to change the young Colonel's life and his relationship with Pandora, his son, his enemies, and the RDA forever. Part 1 in the Avatar, A New Mission series. This large, slow-build story is essentially an Avatar 3 (with heat and flare!) through Miles Quaritch's eyes after the events of the Way of Water and continuing his parallels with Jake Sully. The story really expands to a movie-sized scope as it goes on. Features Miles' existential crisis and also flashbacks to when Spider was with the 1st Recom Unit. Recoms Lyle Wainfleet and Mansk are also greatly developed. Did my best to be logical and reasonable with the in-movies set canon, and sequel foreshadowing. There are a *few* instances of eventual smut, but there are content warnings and it is kindly written to be skippable if that's not your thing! : )

Day Off de Sarhav3

After defeat at SeaDragon, Miles decides he needs a day off. Even a couple. Ardmore will still have time to twist his head off for not being able to control damn kid. He fucked up his relationship with his son. So if he goes back to Bridgehead, it's gonna kill any chance of him talking to his son again. OR Quaritch's initially comedic adventure along the beaches in an attempt to get his son back, but which ends with something more serious. The love line is not the main thing here, it's just there to please me (Quaritch/OC, Spider/Kiri)
