Written: May 10th, 2017--June 22nd, 2017 reposted from my AO3, anonemones; contains both part one and part two. After a year of living on the surface, monsters and humans have gotten along well, with (mostly) everyone adjusting to the many changes without much trouble. However, events take a strange turn when Sans and Papyrus--both of whom have been acting unlike themselves--go missing, supposedly without a trace. In their place are two monsters who go by the names of Wingdings and Aster, twins, claiming to be the lost Royal Scientist. Everyone is thrown for a loop, especially as nobody remembers a Wingdings or Aster--or, as they claim to be, "Dr. Gaster"--nor do they remember a Royal Scientist before Alphys. And with Sans and Papyrus missing, things don't look good for either of the boys. As their friends search for the missing skeletons, Wingdings and Aster work together to uncover what's happened while they were gone, as well as what might've caused everyone to forget them in the first place. But, trouble lurks within the shadows, as the Void closes in on them once again--refusing to let go of what belongs to it. And unfortunately, the Void is not the only thing after the boys' lives.Complete
Remembrance - An Undertale Story-DISCONTNUED
Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth. Humans and monsters. At least, that's the story we all know. There was another race. Technically, they were monsters. Skeleton monsters to be exact. Humans shunned them because they were monsters. Monsters shunned them because humans had skeletons. In retaliation, the skeletons split into two different races. The Surface Skeletons and the Abyss Skeletons. The Surface Skeletons reaches out to both monsters and humans. However, when the war started, they were some of the first monsters attacked and many were killed when they fought with the other monsters. Only a handful were sealed underground but without the Sun to strengthen their bones, the skeletons suffered until they received anonymous help. Very few survived to this point and slowly, they died out. The Royal Scientist at the time and his wife tried to have children. Each time left them severely weakened. Each child dusted until the wife gave up her life to bring a great skeleton into the world. That child is the last of his kind. The Abyss Skeletons shunned all other monsters and humans, considered them all demons. Their society was alike human society long ago. Divided. They believe they are strong and emotions only weaken. The class system was rigid and they possessed a kill or be killed attitude to all other monsters and humans. They thrived underground and ended up building their society in the Underground's own Abyss. It is a shame that only their leader can reclaim their heir from the corruption caused by those demons. Frisk has freed the monsters of the Underground. Finally, monster kind is allowed to return to the surface. It's been 3 years since then. Yet the monsters still struggle to find their place within the world. Most accept the monsters, but there are those who wish nothing more than the complete annihilation of monster kind. Merely sealing them away is not enough. As ambassador for the monsters, it is Frisk's responsibility to fight for everyone's right to live on the surface. But at the same time, an internal battle rages on within her. Not only that, her relationship with Sans is strained. Trust is not so easily regained after the slaughter of one's beloved, despite it all being erased. Or was it really? The memories are still there. *I have lost interest to complete pre story and post story parts. Word has been released that monsters now roamed the surface, and you can't help but feel slightly skeptical. You had been told since childhood that monsters were vile and repulsive creatures who wanted nothing more but human blood pouring from the palm of their hand. You didn't know what to think of the monster race, but majority of the human race did. The tension between monsters and human kind was sickening. People had told you to stay away from monsters at all costs. But that'll be a bit difficult when two skeleton brothers move in next door to you. And why bother lying? Timelines (A Doctor Who/Undertale crossover)
What happens when a human gets tired of resets? When the thrill of a genocide route becomes boring and mundane? This is exactly what happens to Frisk. They spent so much time going through reset after reset that now they are growing tired of it. However, little do they know that their next timeline will be one of the most interesting they've ever had. When Frisk resets after an incomplete genocide, it captures the attention of a certain alien Timelord called The Doctor. He has to travel between dimensions to investigate this strange anomaly, but ends up with an adventure much more strange than he had initially anticipated. This timeline is breaking.
