She has let Abby go and now has to live with her actions. Consumed by guilt and fear, she has confined herself to her home. That is until Tommy comes to Ellie with news from his latest excursion. 

Tommy has learned of another immune woman located in a small refugee city in Oregon. With his business still unfinished, he offers Ellie a chance to leave Jackson and find her. When Ellie does, she finds herself roped into a world of family secrets, missing people, and feelings she tries desperately to push away. But maybe this is what it will take for her to finally learn to heal.
