"It wasn't supposed to be like this!" He said sternly, not being heard by anyone else but her over the music that still filled the house. There was a line outside the bathroom but the music was too loud to listen in either way.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Her tone was angry and louder than his. Billy took a few steps closer to the blonde girl in front of him, the two were barely a foot away from each other.

"This was supposed to- I wasn't..." he trailed off. Billy let out a deep sigh and placed his hand on her cheek. She could feel how nervous and jittery he was. Her face grew red and his hand was lightly sweating against her face but she barely noticed. "I wasn't supposed to feel this way," he finally looked into her eyes. She saw the gloss wrapped in fear. She wanted to speak but she didn't know what to say.
