Jennifer Freeman, a teenage girl in the 1980's, tries desperately to escape her father's abuse. With the help of her new friends, she believes she can, but it won't be easy, nor simple. 

"A ruined beauty marred by the cruel hands of her father."

This story takes place from multiple POVs, including Jennifer Freeman, John Harris, Finn Harris, Roy Meyers, and occasionally Nicolas Freeman. However, Jennifer is the main protagonist of the overall story. Any constructive criticism is VERY welcome!





⚠️TW: abusive relationships, traumatic family situations, physical abuse, alcoholism, drug use, death, violent death, PG-14 level profanity, depression/anxiety, other traumatic events, blood, and occasional gore. ⚠️

RATED MATURE FOR: an occasional and often intense depiction of physical abuse and other violent incidents that occur in the storyline. Aside from these few things, I personally would give the story a PG-14 or TVMA rating. To abide by Wattpad's guidelines I may rate it as mature. But be sure that there is no nudity or sexual content. The closest it comes is the occasional suggestion of it.
