Anyway, hopefully this gives you some insight as to what it is like being 17 and living in a dreamless pit of general unhappiness while trying to combat the effects of Type-1 Bipolar Disorder (for anyone who doesn't know anything about the disorder, I recommend watching a musical called 'Next to Normal' which can be found on YouTube) and makes you appreciate the diversity of human emotion

Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... The street-fighting nerd
Meet Raven Night. She's 17. At school, she gets bullied because she's a "nerd". No one knows her past and she tends to keep it that way. During the day she is the nerd of the school. He and his other two friends just moved to town. When Jacob and his two friends(Michael & Caden) first arrived at Rosewood high, Raven was away on a mission. Jacob is a gang leader while Michael is his third-in-command and Caden is his second-in-command. Jacob had a dark past so he's cold to anyone that's not friends or family. Hi there, how are you? I hope you're okay. Like the title says, this book is made of pieces of me, sort of like a diary. Each chapter has its topic, message and feeling. I write it as my life goes on, pouring my heart out, mentioning a lot of the past and situations I haven't overcome, voicing my struggles, wins and losses, lessons and pain.
