Ever since I started reading fanfiction in general I've always Been mildly annoyed of the fact that around half of what I've read has always been just so grammatically incorrect or flat-out unreadable that it makes my head hurt sometimes. So today, I want to try and give a small reprieve in a sea of that kind of writing.

So I greatly present an SBY (SpaceBattleshipYamato)X Halo X Sorta Terminator and other minor crossovers

This is a show script inspired heavily by many different classic franchises like Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar: Galactica and Halo. The story is a military sci-fi action show with a bit of drama in between and some fantasy elements later on and also sprinkled with comedy now and again. The show is also heavily peppered with music terminology and music references like the names of certain ships and aspects of war and the names of factions specially. I made this show as an allegory for my experience in band and all characters are based on real people and the relationships between them. If you are interested in the show script and want to provide helpful criticism and/or ask questions about the show, you can contact me on the Marching Fleet Instagram page linked below. A story about war in the universe. I joined the band at my high school as a brass player, specifically tuba, and became obsessed with all things music, it was always present in all things I did. One day I made a drawing of a ship and called it the "SS Vanguard Brass" and sent it to my friends in brass. One responded by saying "hey, that should be a fan fiction or something"(Duclos), so I sat down and thought about it and decided that if I was going to do it, even though I adore movies, it would have to be a show. So I spent a few hours of my day that I had to spare and wrote a pilot that I then shared with my friends. They adored the script and said they would support me with creative help(meaning they would judge would I write). A few months later it is now being read by many people I know, including the director of my high school band. 12 parts Complete Mature
[Complete] Stealing stuff is supposed to be simple. But when I decide to rescue a ComfortUnit from a company that I faked my own death to escape, and they're hauling "pesticides" that don't seem to have much agricultural value, things get a lot more complicated. Add to that, there are still humans around to get hurt by corporate paranoia/ secrecy/ vindictiveness, and things are...well, yeah. This is going to be a lot. ___ From the perspective of an original SecUnit character named Nine (because I'm sensitive to "Murderbot would not say that"). ___ Content warnings: - Strong language (swearing) - Canon-typical violence - Serious injuries - Disfigurement or non-consensual body modification (occurs off-page, discussed) - Minor character death - Blood and gore - Fire - Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) - Chemical Weapons ___ Other tags: - The Corporation Rim is Terrible - Corporate Espionage - no beta we die like murderbots - Heist Silly tags: - Unreliable narrator(s) but only because of the brain damage - If sarcasm were rocket fuel we could be an intergalactic civilization by now - Hurt/ComfortUnit, or HurtUnit/ComfortUnit (pun, no romance) - Grumpy-sunshine dynamics but the sunshine person is just as damaged as the grumpy person - If it's unsafe to be yourself, you'll always pretend to be someone else - If you always pretend to be someone else, you'll never know who you are - If you never know who you are, you'll never know what you want ___ Inspired by *Fugitive Telemetry*: "I started to say that they never used SecUnits for espionage, and then I realized I didn't actually know that for sure. Take away our armor and alter our appearance and give us the right module..." ___ Cover created in Canva. Both images are called "Modern technology icon" by iconsy.

NOTICE: From chapter 29 (which will release on 31/10/24, 12pm AEST) on to the rest of the fanfic, things are gonna be ridiculously more complicated. Also there's gonna be a lot more Doctor Who, Dragon Ball, Alien, Helldivers, Guardians of the Galaxy and other sci-fi bullshit from then on. In a galaxy fractured by power struggles and uneasy alliances, old empires, corporate titans, and alien factions vie for dominance over uncharted worlds and forgotten technologies. With the Citadel Council acting as the tenuous anchor of peace, threats lurk in the shadows-mercenary groups carve out criminal empires, rogue factions from the outer systems gather strength, and scavengers race to uncover ancient artifacts that could change the balance of power forever. Amid this chaotic landscape, whispers of hidden vaults and lost civilizations ignite a galactic gold rush, drawing treasure hunters, bounty seekers, and soldiers of fortune to the edges of known space. At the heart of it is our crew. Led by two seasoned warriors with a shared history they don't fully understand, the crew finds themselves drawn into dangerous missions that stretch their skills-and their morals-to the breaking point. In a universe where victory often comes at a price and peace is always temporary, the crew must decide what truly matters-loyalty, freedom, or the power to control their own fate (to be blunt, it's freedom). [TO BE CONTINUED] STORY ARCS Pre-Reset Arc - COMPLETE (Chapters 1-23) Anomalies Arc - CURRENT (Chapters 24-) Cover by @devarsh_yagnik NOTE: This work contains some semi-graphic depictions of violence on a TV-MA (ACB MA15+) and infrequent explicit language on a TV-14 (ACB M) level.
