Novaturient: (adj.) desiring or seeking powerful change in one's life, behavior or situation. What a load of shit. Sure I wanted a little change, a little excitement but this? This was definitely not what I meant. Never in my twenty-two years of experience did I expect to be in a jail cell with three hookers from down the block, four bikers who happened to be looking for the same guy, two guys we met at a club trying to get Rowan back, a gay guy we met at the mall and a golden retriever. Never. Ever. Do you know how long it took for my absolutely normal day to get turned completely upside down? 12 hours. Which was half of our twenty-four hour deadline to bring in this Gabriel Montello so we could have Row back. How in the world did I get mixed up with this guy? Oh right he was my one night stand last night. When I get my hands on that guy I will throttle him until he's blue but for you to understand just what kind of a night it's been we'll have to go back twenty-four hours.

Hi, I'm Matt. I'm 5' 11", 170 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes, and sigh...Caucasian. What I'm trying to say is, I'm completely average. A face in a crowd, easily forgettable. The only exciting thing about me is my job. I'm a Tailor. Still sound unimpressive? Add the words "for Super Heroes". Oh yeah. Unfortunately, this story is not about my amazing job, or the incredible people I work with. This story is about how vying for a little appreciation and a cost of living increase had some wildly unexpected consequences.
