Amity is a 19 year old college student with a vivid imagination and a tendency to dream often. However, her dreams were not always pleasant. At night, or even during the day when she dozed off, she would see memories of a girl named Yvette who had gone missing. As she slept, her spiritual and mental self would enter the consciousness of Yvette, allowing her to experience what Yvette had experienced.

As Amity explored Yvette's consciousness, she slowly uncovered a dark truth about the small town she lived in. She saw the faces of people she knew and trusted, but now they seemed different, almost sinister. She saw the places she had always considered safe, now turned into places of fear and danger. 

Not only did she have to ensure Yvette's safety, her kidnapper was becoming more aggressive with Yvette.
