Book 2 of The One Who Was Forgotten series

Mila has gone to the end of Tartarus with Asclepius' guidance and Paean's blessing. However, before she can enter Chaos' realm, she's hit by a weapon that sends her injured into the embrace of darkness. Unaware of the battle brewing, she will face many hardships alone.

Aphrodite is a toddler. Turned by the Primordial Eros, she has no choice but to stop her plans lest she be reduced to a mindless, immortal, infant. Ares is her only hope, yet he's been banished to the mortal realm by Zeus. Should she find a way to break free from her confinement, the world may end.

Asclepius has revealed his true personality. Sour and filled with hatred towards both his parents for the circumstances of his birth, upbringing, and ascent to immortality, he abstains from helping any further than guarding Mila. There is another reason he's been so against letting her live that none but Athena know.

Artemis is at a breaking point. After the untimely breakdown of Amara, her loyal lieutenant, she has fallen into a depression. Will Apollo be able to break his beloved twin out of her mind for the second time, or will the Sun be without its Moon for eternity?

Chaos and Order are playing with the lives of all mortals and immortals alike. The only question:

Will Love win, or will the Primordials manage to bring everything to rights before it's too late?

Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.

"I don't know what I did to make you hate me, I haven't done anything to warrant how you ignore me! Please, just tell me!" "I'm in love with you, damn it!" He roars. "I love you so much Aphrodite, and you scare me because you are so strong and I don't want to be the one to break you!" * Aphrodite Muerte is hiding something and so is her long term crush Thanatos Amaro. Both are helplessly in love with one another and both have very different approaches on how to hide it. Love makes you do crazy things and with Aphrodite and Thanatos, it's no different. Pretending to hate Aphrodite, Thanatos manages to hide his true feelings which takes a toll on both of them. Thanatos has no idea what he's doing. Past trauma rules over Aphrodite at night causing nightmares and panic during the day. Aphrodite has no idea how to live life outside of pain. Abuse has a way of shaping people, and she's barely mended from being so broken. Both have friends that force them closer but their love might just be the reason why they end up staying together. Afterall, someone can only stay away from the person they're in love with for so long. One argument and a couple of confessions later leaves them on a confusing path that has the opportunity to be beautiful or disastrous. Love is magical but it is also savage. For Aphrodite and Thanatos, they are each other's downfalls and each others saviors. How long they last is up to them. How much they go through to get together is up to fate. In the end, will they make it or will their love end in splinters and heartache? * WARNING: Mature Content (of all sorts). What if mythology isn't a myth? Callie Prescott has the rest of her life planned out: get into med school, become a heart surgeon, and heal the world. But when her long-lost mom reappears and she learns the truth about who she really is, Callie must give up everything - her dreams, her dad, and her future - to be the wife of Hades, the God of the Underworld. Callie is surprised to find that her new kingdom isn't what she imagined, and neither are those who call it home. Callie wants to be bitter, but she cannot understand why this man - this god - sparks a desire in her that she has never felt before. But all is not well in the Underworld. Someone is after Hades' throne, and they want to open Tartarus once and for all. Callie and her new husband must travel between the Underworld, Earth, and Olympus to gain help from some larger-than-life gods and fix everything before it's too late. The balance of life and death depends on it.
