Raven and Riley's mother is a witch and her father died when they were four. At the start of the story the sisters are 11 and at the end they are 15.Their great great grandparents were Persephone and Hades, Hades is the king of the underworld and god of death (in greek mythology). Raven and Riley somehow inherited powers similar to Hades, Riley: lets out a red liquid that wraps around a person and can kill them in about 1 minute. Raven: a black slime like liquid that is anyone touches, they will die immediately. (The girl on the cover is Raven)
