The Fairy's Gambit [Lego Monkie Kid OC Fic]

All goes unexpected for Jia Ya, one day when her teacher rejects her thesis for the second time as she meets the legendary Great Sage, Equal to Heaven who she thought only existed in tall tales. After spending one afternoon with the Great Sage, she finds herself to be unexpectedly adventurous and is determined to go on more adventures with him.

Sadly, the Great Sage disappears and she must head for Megapolis to find clues about his whereabouts. There she meets MK and his friends who are also looking for him. Jia discovers that the tall tales she once knew are very, very real and is pulled into a rabbit hole of mythological mysteries.

At the same time, she feels like she's falling for the very Great Sage that she's looking for?
