When Mads was a little girl, her mum always told her. 'Be nice', 'Be kind even if they are mean to you', 'Treat others the way you want to be treated'. But growing up she grew to learn that, that was complete and utter bullshit.
Maddie lived in a small town in Miami, while also living next to her best friend. People either wanted to be her or be with her. She was stubborn, shallow, and a complete bitch.
Mads trusts no one but, herself and her best friend Sierra.
When finding out that her ex-best friend Jay Millar is back from juvie with his best friend, Jacob Smith. She wants to start a fucking riot.
Jay, Mads ex-childhood best friend who dumped her, still to this day she despises him for how he had left her, Mads reckons the words he said hurt more than getting stabbed. Not that she would know. But that's beside the point.
What will happen when they find out the boys are back from juvie? Will they forgive them? Or will they try seeking their revenge?

Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school.
