Jessica is a 6 grade socially awkward girl.She finds it hard to fit in with her small group of friends and is rumored to have "anger issues." She really does have problems and feels bad that everyone thinks (and knows) that she's mean. Jess may not be perfect but she still wants to fit in. So even though she secretly is a kind person and wants to be kind, she acts like the monster everyone thinks she is. She hates being judged by her peers because it's just stressful. And no one is a bigger judger than her "best friend" Sophie. Sophie is really nasty to Jess but super nice to everyone else. On top of that Sophie always gets upset. Really easily. So because of all this Jess wants to end her "friendship" with Sophie. But she cant because they have all of their classes together and the ride the same bus. Plus a small part of Jess still wants to be friends with Sophie. Who knew friendship was so complicated?
