According to a story from the far reaches of the East, a man was walking alone at night along a steep path near a mountain peak. The sky was covered with thick clouds. It was pitch black. Suddenly, he stumbled, lost his footing and fell into the void. Instinctively, he reached out his hand and managed to grab onto a thick branch that extended out from the edge of the cliff. He called for help, but the only response was his own voice echoing through the ravine. There was no one there to hear him. A few hours later, he felt his strength abandoning him. His anguish grew. When he could hold on no more, the first light of dawn began to dissolve the dense darkness. He looked down and laughed as he saw that just a few inches below his feet, there was a large, flat rock. He could have let go of the branch at any time during the night and stood on it. But he would have done so without knowing. Without being certain. By overcoming every fear, real or imagined...

#2 in Horror. /02.23.16/ I hear footsteps approaching me, pacing faster and faster making me look back quickly. I see a man in a black fabric mask wearing all black clothing. I widen my eyes beginning to run in the snow making my feet heavy. "Help! Somebody help me!" I scream in a cry looking around to find nobody on sight. "Help!" I scream trying to run faster hoping somebody would hear my cries. My throat became sore from the cold quickly making it harder to breathe freely. "Help me! Somebody!" I hear the tall figure run behind me feeling a grip on my hair. My white ski hat fell into the ground covered in snow. The man groans pulling my hair towards him making me collapse. "No, stop!" I scream struggling from his grasp, punching and kicking aimlessly. "Shhh." The man whispers into my ear grabbing onto my wrists starting to cuff them. "No!" I scream twisting and turning trying to bite the man's arm. The man doesn't say much. The only thing I hear is his heavy breathing. He starts to shackle my ankles together as I lay a full blown kick into his face making him groan in pain holding onto his nose on top of the mask. "Help me, somebody!" I keep yelling as he kicks me in the stomach and takes out a clothed bag from his coat pocket putting it on my head covering my face. He ties it up from the back tightly making my neck feel pressured. "Please." I whimper. "You don't have to do this." I cry admitting defeat. "Night, night." He chuckles hitting me behind the head making me loss consciousness. WARNING: Will contain very disturbing content. This book is not for individuals who are sensitive to these topics. BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.

When you experience the worst thing you could ever imagine, how do you react? - "The water looked so tempting under me as I stood there in the dark. The splashing sounds as the waves hit the stone calmed me down and I took a deep breath. Yes. This was it. I closed my eyes and took one step closer, feeling the curb under the soles of my shoes when I stopped again. Then my heart started pounding when I heard the sound of an angry engine behind me, a screech and a crash. I turned around, gasping, ready to pick my phone up from the ground to call for help- but what met me was a pair of soul-searching golden eyes. In all his twisted glory, he stood in front of me, his precious motorcycle's engine still going as it laid on the ground behind him. The little soul - whole book

1 part Complete

Once upon a time there was a little soul... It flew through the universe and was happy. Happy because it was there, simply because it existed. The little soul was very happy because everything here was incredibly beautiful, so peaceful, so "clear"- simply divine. It flew from one place to the other - as quick as a thought. It had barely imagined being somewhere, when it was already there. That's the way traveling worked here. Sometimes it made it pretty dizzy as it was still a quite inexperienced soul. Because of that, it preferred to ride a comet's tail from time to time to enjoy the slowness. It wouldn't have known that it was that happy if it hadn't taken a rest on a star sometimes. There it did it's favorite thing: watching the humans on earth. It had not been on earth yet. It didn't dare to as it thought the humans to be somewhat peculiar. She often asked herself why the humans lived the way they did. So far it had avoided to ask another, older, soul on that topic, although they all were always very kind and lovely with it. But every time it sat on the stars, it's curiosity grew bigger and bigger. "So" - it suddenly heard a voice. "Are you here again to wonder about the humans?" Surprised, the little soul took a look around and discovered another soul. Obviously the little soul had been so lost in its thoughts that it hadn't noticed this other soul.
