Curse ideas for Descendants story

I am writing a Descendants story. After Belle breaks the Beast's curse they have their happily ever after or so they thought. When the curse was broken a warning was given. A warning they forgot. In banishing all the villains and their sidekicks to the isle of the lost He awakens the warnings curse. Which causes a heartbreaking choice and that's is the beginning of my story. I am stuck on the curse and could use some help. What I really want to do is somehow combine the warning concerning the soul stone and the warning concerning the Magica Maxima spell together and somehow make them both fit into a "curse" for my story but I'm stuck. The curse will be for their baby daughter and it is awoken when she's around 3-4. HELP!!!
