It had been years since the Sky People came to Eywa'eveng and ever since they arrived, they brought war and bloodshed with them. The Omatikaya had to be on guard at all times, a moment of weakness could result in their elimination. Swaylu, one of the six children of the Olo'eykte and the Tsahik, remembered the stories of the Na'vi from their sister tribes that had sought refuge in Kelutral. They told stories of seeing their homes burned down, their family murdered in front of them, and the animals they cherished slaughtered.

The Sky People didn't want peace, they wanted control. Books and goods were handed to them as a peace offering, but nothing can mend the wound the Sky People carved into the hearts of the Na'vi.

Swaylu knew more than anyone about the horrors the Sky People brought with them. However, as he held his bow and arrow, aiming for one of the dream walker's heads, he received a sign from Eywa. And, he couldn't bring himself to kill the dream walker.

This story follows the first born child of the Olo'eyktan and Tsahik of the Omaticaya clan. Older sister to Neteyam, Lo'ak, Kiri, and Tuktirey. She was raised to be the perfect balance of Neytiri and Jake, maybe a little too perfect. Follow her story as she has to give up the only life she has ever known to keep her people safe. --**-- My grandmother notices my frozen state and makes her way to me. "My child..." I turn to look at her, "do not be afraid of life, do not be afraid of fate, be afraid of doing nothing to change it." As the words leave her lips, it sparks a dying fire in my heart. A fire I thought would extinguish along with my title. I smile and pull her into a hug, "I will find my way back to you one day..." I whisper in her ear. "I know, and when you do, you will be a different person. I cannot wait to meet her." With her final words, and a newfound light in my soul, I turn to follow my family down the pathway. I reach the end and mount Kxitx, and with one last look at my clan, I pull my headpiece over my forehead, yip to signal takeoff, and burst from the ground like a sapling reaching to the sun. And we were off. --**-- If you don't like the story, feel free to not read it. Don't waste your energy commenting you don't like something. Just move on. And she's trying to survive. She's a former captain of the Australian Army. A renowned scholar in Anthropology. A child of the dying world. But what she also is...... something greater than one could have ever thought of. She is in the 22nd century, living on Pandora as a Xenoanthropologist and Avatar driver hired by the RDA and the UN Xeno-Exploration and Science Committee to document the Na'vi and Pandora as a whole and assist the scientific research team. She is the protégé of Doctor Grace Augustine, and the friend of Jake Sully, Norm Spellman and Trudy Chacon. She expected to only record data and knowledge for her five years on the planet, write a book and then leave, but instead, she fell in love with what and who she promised she couldn't. She fell in love with the alien planet of Pandora, with the mystic goddess, Eywa, and she fell in love with her people. She fell in love with a woman who took her heart and healed her soul, and filled her ears with songs of hope and peace. When she never thought she would ever fall in love. Now, she fights for the survival of the people of the planet, Rune will do anything to prevent the new world becoming like her old world. She will fight against her own species. She will fight with Toruk Makto. She will fight because that is what a good soldier does, that is what a good person does. They fight for the right thing.
