1989. A baby was born. A little girl by the name of Clara Black. Clara was born to a single mother who had enough love to be both parents. Her mother went by the name Beatrice or Bea but she was rarely ever called by her last name because it reminded her of her ex-husband. 1992 was the year Beatrice lost her daughter. Lost to a deadly infection, one that had spread throughout the community, luckily Bea escapes via help from an former police officer. While all of this is happening, there is a physcotic killer who is after Bea.
