"Are you an angel?" Virgo asked cautiously. The white headed girl looked back at Virgo and her brother. "Angels don't exist. The sooner you accept that, the easier it gets." "Then who are you?" Virgo asked, following her some more. The white headed girl had a twinge if sympathy in her eyes. "Names have power, kid. It's best you don't know mine." "Then what are you?" Virgo demanded, sick of this girls games. Her brother held onto her arm. "Most kids know us now as the monster under the bed. The demon willing to drag you to the pits of hell," the girl explained. "But there are no such things as demons and angels. Life isn't that black and white." ------------- There is a town where children are snatched from their beds in the night. There is a town where mothers fear their children are next to go. There is a town where windows and doors remained lock in fear of what may come through them in the dead of night, when nobody is a awake, when nobody will hear a scream. There is a place where monsters and saviors of fairy tales lurk. Where they live and thrive. Where there are lonely sirens, angry fae, and annoying pixies. Such place does exist, I promise, but only if you know where to look. Two children kidnapped in the dead of night. A rein of evil over the land. Twelve people who cannot stop arguing in the midst of it all. Folklore Forest is about to be overrun by a whole new crazy. Fist slammed against the table and everyone turned to her, "I don't know about everyone else, but I'm not allowing my city to just sit and rot here. We're going to find those 12 kids we need. I don't care what it takes." She announced to the room. "Well, we have to find out what we're looking for here first, because I'm not letting some teenager screw up my decades of work." The brown haired man added from the corner of the table. "He's right, we need people who are responsible and corporate well together. Get Uranus to see if he could get us some profiles about them and we can all pick out one for each kingdom." Mercury always had the best ideas. "I like that, let's do that. That way everyone gets it fair and square and the fire kingdom won't rip each other to shreds trying to see who rules it all." Pluto agrees and everyone laughs knowing that's what would end up happening. "Ok, but just promise me that he's locked away and that the children are safe. I don't want another mistake like that again." I looked up at Jupiter and flinched when she mentioned 'him'. "Don't worry, everything will be just fine..." .......................................................... ⚠️⚠️⚠️WARNING⚠️⚠️⚠️ This book will include the following: - cussing - alcoholic/drug use - mild gore - mild sexual scenes - talk of mental health Most of these issues will have a warning before. .............................................

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16

Colony Wars 5: Tales of the Galaxy

20 chapitres En cours d'écriture Contenu pour adultes

Imagine that the universe is not just a mass of swirling gases, blazing stars and giant spheres of rock. Instead, look at each Galaxy as a massive living entity, with its own consciousness, its own perception of time and its own goals. Each Galaxy has about one hundred billion stars contained within it, and of those stars, around a hundred thousand of them would have planets that could support life. Only a few hundred of those worlds will have life forms that develop higher intellect. These intelligent life forms are the Galaxies children. The Galaxy wants to be able to choose its favourite offspring and give it pride of place above all its other children. It wants to give it lordship and dominion across the Cosmos. These are the stories of one such Galaxy and how the races that came to exist in it were created, how they grew and moved on from their native home worlds, how they discovered the other races of the Galaxy, how they interact with each other and how eventually one race wins the Colony Wars.
