Alessia Vien Veranda was abused physically and mentally by her relatives, specifically her aunt. The sister of her deceased mother. When she turned 18 and during their school vacation, she decided to step out of the hell she lived in since she was 8 years old. But she was afraid that her aunt might turned out to be right, that she would not make it without them.

Despite of being scared, she was persistent to prove her aunt that she was wrong that's why she ran away and started to live by herself.

But would she be able to make it? Would this journey of hers would make her realize that life is worth living?

Would she be able to GET AWAY from people who wish nothing but her downfall and from her own self who tends to look down on her own capabilities or would she realize that they were right along?

Writing a memoir at only fifteen years old has taught me a lot. Giving me the time to reflect on the lessons I learned the hard way and the mistakes I've made thus far. I learned, if there is at least two sides to every story, there is at least two sides to every person. What could be a smile is a broken heart in a deeper reality. We all live in a society where nothing is as it seems, the people being more complex and astonishing than the countless novels we read. And in a world ruled by tragedies, we are the survivors. Getting through our own history, more important to us then what we read in school. We take our story one page at a time, word by word because in the end, it will all be worth it. I dedicate this memoir to the people who have been with me on my journey of self discovery, even if only in spirit. Mom- Who has made non stop sacrifices to ensure my happiness and well being. Nothing would be possible without you! Grandma- Who has inspired me and made a huge influence to the person I am now and who I'll be in the future. Callie- My own personal slave, illustrator, editor and full time best friend. You know I love you <3 Ariana Grande- My celebrity inspiration, showing me that it's ok to "love who you love, no one can judge, follow your heart and don't give up", getting me through the long and lonely nights. Be sure to buy her new album "Moonlight", hopefully to be released this year and her new fragrance "Ari" in accordance to the "Be You" campaign. Adam Young (Of Owl City)- My first artist I listened to, your songs make me think of the past and the new adventures to come. Sam Tsui- The album "Make it up" taught me to not be scared of not knowing what's going to happen next. Being young and naive Isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it brings way to new experiences, to be vulnerable and crying doesn't make you any less of a person. That we're all human and it's ok to embrace it.

She pays attention to Aurora, just not the way she should. Aurora ended up being the one to take over, but she and her best friend ended up being kidnapped beforehand. All of her and her dad's plans went downhill afterward. She fell in love with her kidnapper and her best friend, Lola who is also 18, fell in love with the kidnapper's best friend. How would this turn out? Would Aurora's parents find out and take her back? Will there be a happy ending or not? You must read to find out!! (𝐌𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤! "And do you want to know what happened to my sister. She was dragged from streets on her way back to home. She was drugged and was forcefully taken to God knows where. Not only she was raped brutally, she was beaten up . Hundreds of bruises and burn marks covered her whole body leaving the scars she had. She cried herself to sleep all night after that horrible night. You should have seen her. You know, you made me realise why she never told anyone. Why she never took action against it. To top it all, my sister was kidnapped and murdered. And you know what's heart breaking, she was dumped in a landfill like some trash. I still have nightmares seeing her lifeless body, with dried blood all over her face . Just imagine, an innocent girl with dreams and hopes. She always dreamt about getting a job and taking care of our parents rather than moving out. She had a very beautiful heart and a courageous soul. The way you said she committed suicide, I just wanted to rip you apart. She would never. Thinking all her dreams and wishes were completely shattered by their thirst for pleasure, breaks me. Not just her , hundreds and thousands of women and children are harassed, assaulted, molested and raped . How could people be so selfish and heartless. You know what makes it harder, the convicts are right here, right now....seeing and hearing everything that I am saying. Let them...I don't care. The guilt should eat them up. So, before talking shit about someone you really should know what you are doing. You hurt me, you know... The way you talked about my sister who went through hell, it hurt me."
