As far as vacation plans go, a road trip to see your new boyfriend's sick grandmother in the small, country town of St Louis, where they grow food from the ground and get water from the well, is not particularly ideal a situation for 21st century woman Kendall Novice who lives her life through phone screens and instant pizza dilivery systems. Its gonna be a challenge to get this girl to embrace the outdoors, a strain on her relationship with her love, but most of all a discovery of her own personhood: the type that looks through the internet the entire car ride or the one that lowers the window and let's in the fresh autumn wind?
