He kneeled down in front of me to match my eight years old body  with great fear and concerns in his eyes "Princess,  if we stay here any longer, you and the prince will be in great danger, the both of you are our only hope to save this kingdom, please understand,  we are doing this for the sake of our kingdom, your kingdom" As those words escaped his mouth, I finally realize that I put my kingdom, my subjects, even my promise to mother in danger.  "i-i understand... b-but.. is there any way I can stay with Victor? " I asked with a shaky voice, as tears threatening to fall down my cheeks, I put my hands together in front of my chest in a pleading manner. "I'm afraid not, your majesty " 
He answered with a sorry look in his eyes as he stood up. "Oh..." I looked down at the ground with a feeling of extreme sad and disappointment.

"Lucy it's scaring me at this point" said Natsu. I looked at him weirdly. "What is?" I asked. He looked very constricted and pained. "I don't know how to say it Luce" he said while looking at the floor. I smiled and twirled the straw in my drink. "C'mon Natsu you know you could tell me anything'' I said nicely. Natsu looked up at me and stared at my face for a few seconds . "Luce I don't want you in my team anymore " he said that with pain written across his face. I stopped playing with the straw. I felt my world collapse and my lungs stop working... "Why?" I asked tears starting to form. "You always get hurt on missions and I'm sorry but you aren't strong enough Luce... I just don't want to see you get hurt anymore " he trailed off. I grabbed his hand and held it tightly in my hands. I held back my tears as much as I possibly could and smiled the biggest smile that was very painful. Why am I so weak? Don't worry Natsu I'll get strong ...so strong that one day you'll see

Once upon a time there was a beautiful kingdom... Scratch that. this was a kingdom ruled by a malicious king. Once the Good king of the land past the queen had no choice to marry someone to help her rule the kingdom. Her son was too young and she couldn't keep it up on her own. The prince was mistreated and locked away in the castle by his evil step-father. The mystery remains why. When the prince escapes, having the knowledge that the king is locking him away out of fear of the power he possesses, and tries to leave. The guards are constantly searching for him and he is trapped in the town of Magnolia. When the beautiful maiden, Lucy Heartfillia, helps him away from the guards, he contemplates telling her that he is the prince. Before he can do anything strange events occur possibly reveling his true power. She helps him through all in his troubled times, and the prince cant help but fall in love with the beautiful maiden in the times of trouble. [SLOW UPDATES] Characters belong to Hiro Mashima. Storyline is mine And I suck at descriptions so hopefully this will suffice.

What I fear most is losing everything. Her smile, her laugh, her eyes, her lips, her dreams, her wishes, and her hopes. What I fear even more is losing her. If I told her my feelings would she push me away? If I showed it to her would she treat me any differently? Would she go to someone else? Would she be hurt if I left her? If I pushed her away would she leave me? You have to understand that I meant nothing to you but you mean the world to me. If I told you I love you would you hate me? Would I regret it? My angel means everything to me and even if the darkness would have taken her, I swear that I would do more than just hurt him. I will make him feel her pain completely. I decided to work at a cafe for a bit as a favor for my friends (Natsu and Gray) destroying Yajima's cafe, but since he had enough staff that day, he decided to hand me to his friend for a little bit. He insisted I had gone for fear of the guys and Erza destroying her place. I had heard that she was a very nice lady and hoped that she was at least lenient.

"Go Ëthia! Get out of here!" He yelled at me. I quickly looked around to see if there was anything that could get us out of this situation, there had to be, I couldn't just leave him here to die knowing that I hadn't given it my all. "No, I won't leave you here! There has to be something I can do" I said looking around frantically. I wandered around the arena looking for something to untie him but I couldn't find anything. The expression on his face begged me to go, to leave him and save myself, it was the one thing he truly wanted. "Please Ëthia, I couldn't live another moment knowing that you weren't there with me, you've got a colony and people to rule over, please go". I took a step forward and he began yelling at me. "I said go! Leave now! Save yourself! I will never forgive you if don't leave, and that's something I promise to keep". *** Everyone has had something taken from them, whether it be hope, love, possessions, or people. Ëthia learned this a long time ago, after the death of her parents she has had to figure out how to be the best ruler she can be. She's learned to make sacrifices, put love aside, and do what's best for her colony. But now, as a prophecy has been revealed to her, she'll have to reconsider what her heart has told her and embark on a journey in which she'll have to take step by step and rely on others to help her accomplish what she needs to do.

It can't be! It's not supposed to be! A dragon prince beholden to a mere human? This never ends well. He gave her a sheepish smile, and Lucy couldn't help but wonder that he might actually be enjoying himself, despite what he might say. "..so if I put it in other words.." he began. "You're kinda stuck with me.." All rights for the characters and concept of Fairy Tail belong to Hiro Mashima. Story inspired from a prompt. The plot development is mine :).
