People are getting killed all around Japan. The unknown murderer/murders seemed to be playing around with the leads.

When the police think they've got a lead, they found themselves later in front of another high level puzzle with still many missing pieces.

That's until Nanase Tenn, a well known investigator and talented detective joined the crime investigation along with his trusted friends and colleagues.

Are all the murders related to each other...or related to some other cases from the past? Will Nanase Tenn be able to narrow down the criminals?

Or...will his convictions waver when he meet someone... someone who he thought had died?
