England is a 15-year old loner who spends much of her time dispassionately recording events around her in hercell phone "diary." Her only friends are imaginary ones: Ice, the "god of time and space," and Dragon, Ice's impish helper. England's life takes a turn for the strange when her diary starts recording events before they happen and Ice announces that she's not so imaginary after all. It turns out England has become part of a survival game in order to determine who will succeed Ice as the god of time and space, competing with 11 others who also possess diaries that predict the future in various ways. The contestants are given special diaries that can predict the future, each diary possessing unique features that give it both advantages and disadvantages. Within the next 90 days, the contestants must try to survive until there is only one left standing. Blue, a fellow classmate who despite being a Future Diary holder herself is determined to protect England at all costs. Only one will become the new God of Time and Space.
