Geno is a humble librarian, living together with his eclectic roommates that are a mix of Satanists and Christians. He could care less though about their religious beliefs, so long as they don't try to stuff it down his throat. An incident when he was younger shattered any faith he had, leaving him an atheist and blind to the occult world hiding in plain sight.
To escape the religious drama one night, Geno decides to go for a walk. Little did he know just what was waiting for him in the darkness.

He spends his working hours getting hit on, and ensuring that the imprisoned stay imprisoned. It's not the most glamorous life. Reaper is a criminal, a contract killer, a murderer. He kills people for a living. Life's pretty good... That is until he is found, and thrown in a prison to rot. Behind bars is not how he saw the rest of his life playing out, but hey, these things happen. Of course, behind bars is very, very boring.
