The Girl Next Door

Kennedy finally makes the decision to move to Midvale, a small suburb of Salt Lake City, eager to escape what was supposed to be her perfect life with her high school sweetheart-Nolan-but that all changed when she found out he was cheating on her with her best friend-Cali-for all but two years of their ten year relationship.

Crushed with heartbreak and betrayal she is hoping that running away from it all will be exactly what she needs until she meets her neighbor-Austin-and instantly hit it off, but he's plagued with his own share of heartbreak, betrayal and also a sweet innocent one year old that he is co-parenting with his ex-fiancee who broke his heart but refuses to leave.

Riddled with their own fears they find themselves in a wave of wanting each other but pushing each other away, too afraid to submerge themselves into something so soon, but while they're struggling with trying to protect themselves they might also be pushing each other away. Can they both overcome their past and open their hearts to each other or will their past be doomed to repeat itself?
