She had been friends with Gareth Emerson for a long time.
Hinting they 'had' been friends, not anymore.
After a particularly physical and violent argument between the two, they had never spoken to each other again without making it obvious they wanted to try and kill each other.
When Kaylus, her mother and her little sister have been kicked out of thier home by Kaylus' stepfather.
Her mother call's a very good friend of her's who lets Kaylus' family stay at her house.
Kaylus had never wanted to kill herself more when she found out who lived there.
