The Avengers are looking for new recruits. From kids who've crossed universes to ones who have better eyesight than most of the original avengers, they've got some promising choices. However an 18 year old based at MIT catches their eye.

Tala, a vigilante from an alternate universe, has a criminal record a mile long but nobody needs to know that. Her focus is on actually protecting people and that requires some tricks. Hoping to alert the avengers to their impending doom, the kid navigates her complex present, all while juggling her own past.
