Princess Adeline "Onyx" Tailor was born in 1858 under the third onyx moon of the year to the King and Queen of a kingdom outside of England. Most witches magic comes from their emotions and because of the onyx moon making their magic more powerful, Onyx was to become more powerful with each onyx moon. She was a witch because of her mother, who hated her as she was the only reason they were royalty. She was cursed by the head witch of the coven, because the Queen had requested it, to remove her emotions to prevent her magic from going haywire. She had no emotions other than hate and anger until she meets the woman of her dreams, Kaelyn, a witch as powerful as she was. Kaelyn is a witch and an oracle from Ireland. Her parents were murdered by an unknown warlock from a kingdom and coven that took witches magic for their gain. As Kaelyn finds the Princess, she falls in love with her and Onyx falls in love with her too. Onyx meets her betrothed husband who isn't what he seems and knows she will never love him because of her love with Kaelyn. Navigating their forbidden love and an unfit future marriage, will they both make it out alive?

Bianca's father died after she finished her national service, and it was quite difficult for her as she had to take on the responsibilities of taking care of her sick mother and siblings. At that time, before the death of her father, who was the breadwinner of the family and responsible for taking care of his sick wife and family. But when her father died, the weight was so heavy on her that she didn't have a job or money to sustain herself and her family, or even to pay for and perform all necessary burial rites. Oyinola Adebayo, who is Bianca's friend and whose parents are wealthy, assisted in taking care of her father's burial rites and Bianca's mother's hospital bills. Bianca, a God-fearing Christian, applied to several companies but got rejected despite being a first-class graduate of business administration. Heavily saddened by the rejections from companies she had applied to, she began working in a local restaurant in order to provide for her family and pay her mother's hospital bills. One day, after work at night, Bianca found a lady who was stranded and soaked in the rain. Feeling sad and bad about once being in her shoes, helped her and spent her last penny on her, ordered a cab, and took her to her home.
