Humanity has not yet grasped the true meaning of life; what their purpose in this universe is. Honestly, even the eldest of my kind fully don't understand why they were brought into being. Our species know why were alive; our purpose is to play the role of Him, but each family is given a certain aspect of life we govern and conduct on Sanctus Peccatores, otherwise known as Earth. There are of course minor and major aspects, and the more prominent in a human's life are regarded with social ranking. Our system is a monarchy, usually the two most important of aspects in Earth mate together to become the next in line for the Crown; Life, and Death. Only the eldest child possesses the Aspect they rule, the younger ones don't. We have soul mates though, but most are never found. Only two Angels have rejected their mates though; my parents.
