A child. That is what they found in the remains of an island off the coast of ||||||, if you can even call it that. A writhing mass of this... void was all that was there,  and the child smack dab in the middle of it, drifting about in pain. But unknown to them, their survival will lead to a massive chain of events, and the uncovering of the truth of another world. A world where mankind faces beasts armored with bone.
Their fate is bound to the Yakumo, and bound to their one true home. Their origin and their heart will never be the same. Such is the cost of the eyes that can perceive death.

I will change things from the show, and take liberties with the source materials I am drawing from. This is my first story, please cut me some slack.
