Steve Randle a 17 year old who works at the DX Station with his pal Sodapop Curtis and they are also in a group with their best friends called the "Greasers" since they live on the East Side of Tulsa OK, and are made out to be "Hoods".
Abby Valance, a 16 year old who's the younger sister of Sherri "Cherry" Valance, she's a Socs since she lives on the West side of Tulsa OK, but she never enjoys being around there with all her snobby and self centered peers.
