Sienna Miller knows many things. She knows how to build a website from scratch, she knows that there are more card deck variations than there are atoms on earth, she knows she wants to get away from her small California town, and she knows that Jase Turner is not her friend. In fact, nowadays, they're more like nemeses than anything else. So when Jase asks Sienna to help him raise his failing chemistry grade, she doesn't even have to think about the answer: no. Jase Turner is the school's Golden Boy. He's the star football quarterback, he's dating the most popular girl in school, and, in the eyes of most Radcliffe Academy students, he can do no wrong. Except that he's failing Chemistry, and he knows that doing so would put everything he worked so hard for in jeopardy. In a twist of fate, Sienna and her mother end up moving into Jase's sprawling mansion, and Sienna and Jase are forced to confront the hate they have for each other. When they strike a deal, it's supposed to be simple. Chemistry tutoring in exchange for a social makeover so that Sienna can catch the attention of her crush, Noah. Just a few months, Sienna and her mom will move away, and they'll both be able to go back to their lives like the other never existed. Feelings aren't supposed to get involved. Things aren't supposed to get messy.

And yet they do, leaving Sienna and Jase wondering just what comes next. Is it possible to fall in love with someone you considered an enemy? And can the person you had perfectly type-cast end up being the one you know the least of all?
