DC circuit breakers are one-directional current flow. DC and AC are different from each other. This type of circuit breaker protects from overloading the flow of current. Circuit breakers are used to turn the power off. DC power is used because a battery bank can be used to power the circuits that close and trip breakers if the AC potential goes out perfectly.
