The air felt thick of warmth and his shirt stuck uncomfortably against his sweaty skin. his cap rested softly on his golden curls. the only thing to protect him from the heat. even if he was warm, thirsty and out of breath, he still ran. he could hear the bushes move around him and he knew he was followed. henry barked loudly. stomping and growing like the brave dog he was.
