In the land that conjoins the two continents, there lies an abandoned city shrouded in green.

It was said to be a paradise, inhabited by the ageless, and blessed by heaven.

Then, at the apex of their power, they were vanquished like a flickering candle overnight. Rumours tell that God had punished them for their arrogation, others still by internal revolt. What remains of that city is now a mystery, and the ruins are entrenched in a mysterious fog that corrupts and twists all biological life.

Blessed by abilities borne by the power that had changed them, and cursed to live as mutated humans known collectively as the 'Nagul', Koios is more cursed then blessed. Like the majority of Nagul, he is trapped in the city that will always be the nightmare he cannot escape. His only wish - to leave it all behind, start fresh somewhere else.

Then a girl appears, abandoned by human scavengers, who possesses the latent power to destroy the power that traps them. Koios, who sees her potential, hatches a plan to turn her into a weapon of war that will win his freedom.

The price to be paid? An answer to the lingering mysteries of the city.

A past that is more intimately linked with Koios than the Nagul had ever imagined.
