Lucretia, centurion of the Fourth Cohort, loves a lot of things. She loves the legion, mainly, having dedicated five years of non-stop service.
Lucretia, daughter of Fortuna, also hates a lot of things. She hates the ambassador to Pluto, how he looks so similar to herself, with her deep inset eyes and high cheekbones. And of course, the elephant in the room, how he's her cousin twice removed who was born over seventy years ago.
And of course she absolutely despises that damned graecus, who fired upon her home and then dragged her along on his idiot ship to the forbidden lands. Leo Valdez.
(wait i promise you, i came up with lucretia di angelo before i realised lucretia meant lucky, i also wrote prologue and chapter one before reading ToA so it is a coincidence that both daughters of Tyche/Fortuna are italian)
there will be random updating sometimes because I make grammar mistakes and it really bugs me to not fix them, there are only new chapters on saturday, if you see an update on a chapter you've already read, it's just me fixing my punctuation or something

Leo got up and walked towards the front of the helicopter. I frowned at Piper. "Why'd you take my hot water bottle away?" Piper snorted and I saw the tips of Leo's ears turn red as he sat down.
