I'm really bad at descriptions but this is about Jessie Logan, who iSnT LiKe tHe oThEr GiRlS because she plays baseball and she plays at the Sandlot with our favorite guys and this is basically the plot of the Sandlot with a love story between Jessie and Benny.
This fic is a kind of play off of the song "Midnight Blue" by Lou Gramm, even though that's an 80's song and this is set in 1962 I don't care bite my ass
There will be lots of allusions to the song so be sure to listen to it at least once
