What happens when you've been told by a stranger that you have a deadly, ancient illness known as 'ink illness?' Well in this story, we go on a quest with a pair of littermates (siblings) named Bailey and Basil as they begin their quest looking for five gemstones and statues that will help cure the fatal illness, and maybe...even more. But not everything goes according to plan, as the two cats are being hunted by two assassinators to stop them from collecting all the gemstones. Things are also difficult as both of our main characters are demons; and that they both suffer challenges with the police at first. The lore goes deeper in why they were both born on the surface, why they don't know their parents, and why they were both chosen to find the cure for this illness.

(This story and ink illness was inspired by the comic: Bendy and Boris the quest for the ink machine voiced by VoAdam and Hailey sempi on YouTube)

Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16. And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle. Also, they are normal tattoos (except you don't get it or choose it, it just appears) so you can get rid of it. But if you do, your sm won't die but they will get very sick. The main characters of this story, Violet West (18) and Harper Black (20), both have a flame tattoo on their cheek. They live in the same state but for 4 years Harper paniced because she couldn't find her match. She wasn't sure if it was because her sm wasn't of age yet or if her sm lived far away. For 2 years Violet also paniced but she knew that some people don't find their sm for 5-10 years after they come of age, so she wasn't as scared as Harper.
