When Link first donned the all-powerful mask of the Fierce Deity during his battle against Majora, he didn't have time to wonder on where the mask got its gifts. Now, he does. Choosing to stay in Termina, Link aims to find the secrets of both powerful gods, alongside discovering something else about himself and the virtues of his life.

The surface was supposed to be safe again with Demise defeated, however, its anything but. In the shadows of the uninhabited land lurk rebel Sheikah, who call themselves the Dark Interlopers, who plot against Hylia's human reincarnation, Zelda, and her loyal hero, Link, in secret, building up power to take them both down. Around the same time, Link and Zelda come across a land parallel to the surface, a strange country called Termina, protected by the goddess Terminus. Terminus begs them to help her subdue the mighty Fierce Deity, who was once the goddess's hero before he was corrupted by the demon Majora. Link fights the Deity and defeats him, but he is wounded in the battle and filled with the demon's corruption himself. It was written by someone going by the name "Grey" on VGGTS World all the way back in 2005 while the site was still active.
