"Gally would happily filet me if I did." I joked. He laughed but didn't seem fully at ease. "No. I don't have a thing for her, she's a friend." He nodded, with a silent radiant of pleasure. I broke and asked him about her, "Is it really history? I mean... ever since I noticed you two together, now I can't stop noticing it. She walks into a room and I feel like I have to remind you to breathe." He pulled a chair over and straddled the back of it. "You know when you're running through the maze and you're almost finished, you can see the glade and you have all this built-up adrenaline? You're sore, tired, sweaty but you still feel the last bit of energy to get you home? That's what I feel whenever I'm around her. It's like every nerve in my body wants to wrap around her, but I also teetering on the verge of the danger that would come with that." Hi I wrote this fanfic first for myself but I thought why not share it on wattpad for those who want to read it as well? Basically it's a Newt fanfiction set in the Maze Runner Movie Franchise. In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way.
