After the end of Halo 4, Cortana has died, returned as a villain, got an offscreen redemption arc, and died again. This little short story is a 'what if' story that takes place an undisclosed time after Halo 4. The event of Halo 5 and Halo Infinite have not happened. What if things went a little differently?
