Dream's disastrous love life is common teasing fodder for his siblings. But now, Destiny has told his little brother that the Book holds other things for his future.
A love that will last, which will nurture him in his darkness. And one which will save her and humanity from her eventual death.
But an essentially arranged marriage, whether prophesized or not, comes with its own struggles. And that doesn't even take into account what happens when mortals meddle, and Nightmares choose to run amok.

The sandman: Divine of the Endless
They say the Endless cannot love. But then again, they also say the Endless cannot change. Divine, the eighth of the Endless, is silence incarnate. She is what slips between desire and regret. The one who holds the weight of words unsaid, the ache of things unspoken. When tragedy strikes at the wedding of Orpheus and Eurydice, Divine begins to question her place among her immortal kin - and what it means to truly connect. As time unfurls and stories tangle, Divine walks between mortals and myths, fate and feeling... until she meets Thomas, a mortal man who shouldn't matter. But he does. And the moment he looks at her like he's seen her before, everything the Endless know begins to tremble. In the world of Dream, even silence speaks.
