My story is shared with others, because others are part of my story. And I cannot tell you what they saw, or what they thought, not even what they said, as I cannot tell you that my every thought, my own eyes never deceived me, take that in consideration as I share with you, because humans are flawed...

"There's something about you, something different. Your scent..." He let out a low, almost pained growl. "It drives me mad." His other hand ghosted over my throat, his thumb pressing lightly against my pulse. "I should keep you locked away, hidden from everyone. But even that won't be enough, will it? Because no matter where you go, no matter how far you run... I will always find you."

Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family.
